What is a Business Add-on Credit Card?

It is a secondary credit card issued to an employee, partner or authorised representative under the primary business credit card. While the add-on card holder’s name appears on the card, the primary business owner remains legally responsible for all charges.

Who is eligible to be issued an add-on card?

Add-on credit card can be issued to any employee, partner, or authorised representative of the business.

How does the primary cardholder track spending on add-on card(s)?

Spend tracking and monitoring are available in real-time via the IDFC FIRST Bank mobile app, and it is part of the monthly credit card statement.

Will the add-on card have its own PIN and CVV?

Yes. Each add-on card is a unique physical card with its own card number, expiry date, CVV, and PIN for security purposes.

Does an add-on card affect the add-on card holder’s personal credit score?

No. Business credit card is tied to the credit profile of the primary cardholder. Any activity on the add-on cards is not reported on the add-on card holder’s personal bureau.

What happens if an add-on cardholder leaves the company?

The primary cardholder can request card closure of the add-on card anytime by reaching out to the bank through any of the service channels.

Does the add-on cardholder need to provide their KYC for the issuance of the add-on credit card?

Yes. As per regulatory guidelines, KYC is required for the issuance of an add-on credit card.

How many Add-on cards can be issued to a primary credit card?

A Maximum of 5 Add-on cards can be issued against one primary credit card. The primary cardholder has to apply individually for each add-on card.

What will be the Credit Limit on the add-on credit card?

The credit limit is shared across the Primary Card and all Add-on Cardholders under the same account. The Primary Cardholder has full control to set, allocate, and modify the credit limit assigned to each Add-on Cardholder, within the overall account limit.

Are there any joining or annual fees for IDFC FIRST Bank Add-on Credit Cards?

Yes, the Add-On Card carries a joining fee and an annual fee of ₹250 + GST. For more details, please refer to the Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC).

Will the Primary Credit Card holder earn reward points on spending done using the Add-on Credit Card?

Yes, the Primary Credit Card holder will earn rewards points for all purchase transactions done on the IDFC FIRST Bank Add –on Credit Card. The reward structure for the add-on credit card will be similar to that of the Primary Credit card.

Will the Add-on Credit Card holder be able to redeem the earned reward points?

No, all reward points will be accrued to the primary cardholder account and can be redeemed only by the Primary Card holder.

What will be the Annual Rate of Interest on the Add-on Credit Card?

Annual Rate of Interest on the Add-on Credit Card will be the same as that on the Primary Credit Card.

Will the Add-on Credit Card holder get the monthly Credit Card Statement?

The Add-on credit card transactions will be part of the primary cardholder's monthly statement. The Add-on credit card holder will not receive any statement.

Who will be liable to repay the outstanding of the spends done on the Add-on Credit Card?

The Primary Credit Card holder will be liable to clear the outstanding amount on the Add-on Credit Card/s.

How many add-on credit cards can a customer hold?

A customer can hold a maximum of 1 add-on credit card at a time.

Where will the Add-on Card be delivered?

The Add-on Card will be delivered to the registered address of the Primary Cardhold
