Overview

 

IGNITE is IDFC FIRST Bank's flagship social innovation program designed to support startups and entrepreneurs developing solutions to address pressing social and environmental challenges. Through catalytic grant support, incubation, acceleration, mentorship, and ecosystem linkages, the program aims to nurture purpose-driven enterprises and help them scale sustainable, high-impact solutions.

The program focuses on innovations that contribute to inclusive development, environmental sustainability, healthcare access, livelihoods, and technology-enabled social impact. By supporting promising ventures at various stages of growth, IGNITE seeks to accelerate the adoption of innovative solutions that can create meaningful and measurable change in communities across India.

Through IGNITE, IDFC FIRST Bank is committed to fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem that combines innovation with social responsibility, enabling changemakers to transform ideas into scalable solutions that address real-world challenges while contributing to sustainable development.

IGNITE Incubation Program in partnership with IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP)

  • • Thematic focus: Green manufacturing, Circular economy, Waste recycling and upcycling, Cleantech and environmental sustainability

  • • Thematic focus: Climate Tech/ Carbon reduction and carbon removal/AI/ML healthcare diagnostics/Medical devices and assistive technologies

  • • Max support: up to ₹20-25 lakh per startup
