Supplier's Credit is a credit arrangement provided to an importer for importing goods into India from a foreign or overseas supplier. It is against a Letter of Credit issued by the importer's bank. This arrangement provided by IDFC FIRST Bank IBU in GIFT City enables the importer to benefit from extended payment terms and affordable financing from an overseas bank.

Reimbursement Financing
In reimbursement financing, a Reimbursing Bank acts as a lender, funding import transactions by making immediate payments upon receiving reimbursement claims from the nominated/negotiating bank. As per URR 725, the overseas supplier is guaranteed payment upon submitting compliant credit documents. A letter of credit issued by the importer bank in India is used to guarantee payment.
