IDFC FIRST Bank was conferred with the Utkarsh Puraskar DigiDhan Award 2019-20 for achieving the highest percentage of digital payment transactions under the category of Small and Micro Banks as a private sector bank. The IDFC FIRST Bank team received the Award at the Digital Payment Utsav held in New Delhi on 5th December’2021. The occasion was celebrated under the aegis ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to commemorate India’s 75th year of Independence by the Government of India. Mr. Ashwini Vaishnaw Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology and Mr. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship & Electronics & Information Technology visited IDFC FIRST Bank pavilion and greeted the team. The Bank received accolades for its scale in NETC, 4 million transactions a day and for providing a user-friendly digital interface.
