Which UPI applications have been enabled for linking IDFC FIRST Bank Digital Credit Card on UPI?
Currently, you can link your IDFC FIRST Digital Credit Card on select UPI applications – BHIM, PhonPe, PayTm, Gpay, Freecharge, Slice, Cred & Mobikwik.
How to generate UPI Pin for IDFC FIRST Bank Digital Credit Card?
Please select the IDFC Credit Card from the linked credit card accounts, select set UPI Pin option from the dropdown. Enter last 6 digits of your IDFC Digital Credit Card number, enter the expiry date, follow steps to complete the journey.
How to make UPI payment using IDFC FIRST Bank Digital Credit Card?
Once you have added Digital credit card on the UPI app, click on ‘Scan’, QR scanner will open , scan QR code through any UPI app, enter the amount, select IDFC FIRST Digital FIRST credit card from drop down menu and authenticate your payment using UPI PIN. One the payment is completed, payment confirmation will be displayed.
Is there any fee applicable for Digital Credit Card?
Yes, Joining fee of Rs 199 + GST and an Annual fee(2nd year onwards) of Rs 199 + GST will be applicable.
Can I make UPI payment to any person or other credit cards using the IDFC FIRST Bank Digital Credit Card ?
No, only payment to merchant (P2M) are allowed on IDFC FIRST Digital Credit Card.
What are the restricted merchant categories on which customer won’t be able to make payment using Credit Card on UPI?
Categories – P2P(peer-to-peer), P2PM(peer-to-peer-merchant) digital account opening, lending platform, cash withdrawal at merchant, cash withdrawal at ATM, e-RUPI, IPO, Foreign Inward Remittances, Mutual Funds and any other categories as restricted by National Payment Corporation Of India (NPCI).
Is there any limit on the amount of transaction that can be carried out from linked Credit Card on UPI?
Amount limit per card per day can be up to UPI limit (1 lakh per day and 2 lakh for some special MCC codes), however it will be subject to the available credit limit on your card. To note - Amount limit per day per card is Rs.5,000 for first 24 hrs of linking the card in UPI app - As per NPCI
What will the credit limit for my IDFC FIRST Bank Digital Credit Card?
Credit limit for your existing credit card and IDFC FIRST Bank Digital Credit Card are same and will be shared between the two cards.
Will I earn any reward points for UPI spends using IDFC FIRST Bank Digital Credit Card
Yes, UPI spends using Credit Card will earn reward points.
FIRST Classic, FIRST WOW! and FIRST Millennia - For every ₹150 spent, you will receive 3X reward points on UPI transactions* greater than ₹2,000 and 1X reward points on UPI transactions* less than ₹2,000 every billing cycle.
FIRST Select and FIRST Family - For every ₹125 spent, you will receive 3X reward points on UPI transactions* greater than ₹2,000 and 1X reward points on UPI transactions* less than ₹2,000 every billing cycle.
FIRST Wealth & FIRST Private - For every ₹100 spent, you will receive 3X reward points on UPI transactions* greater than ₹2,000 and 1X reward points on UPI transactions* less than ₹2,000 every billing cycle.
For all credit cards, please note:
Reward program is not applicable on Fuel (MCC 5172, 5541, 5542, 5983), Cash (MCC 6010, 6011,7280) & EMI transactions
Utility and Insurance transactions will earn 1X reward points irrespective of the transaction amount.
All UPI transactions will not be a part of 10X reward program and 10X threshold calculations.

How can I redeem the reward points that I have earned on my card?
You can directly use your points to pay for your online purchases or when shopping at a store. Just choose the option to ‘pay with points’. You can also redeem your reward points against amazing offers at idfcfirstrewards.poshvine.com. Please note rewards can be redeemed through your primary credit card only.
