How it works
Experience seamless transactions with Bharat QR payments across various retails outlets. Follow these steps to set it up on your smartphone:
- Launch your IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App. Please be sure that you are using the latest version here.
- On the login page itself, you will see a band reading 'SCAN AND PAY'. Simply tapping it will invoke your phone's camera.
- Hold the phone camera steady in front of the Bharat QR code and let it scan.
- Once scanned, the merchant details will get auto populated and you will need to enter the amount.
- Once you proceed with the payment you will be asked to login to your mobile banking app.
- Select the card that you want to transact using and authorize the transaction with your OTP, post logging in.
- When the transaction is completed both, you and the merchant will receive a confirmation SMS.
Note: Transacting with your card at merchant’s websites that accept barcode payments is like swiping your card. It is a completely safe and secure system and you will be entitled to all the benefits that apply to your card.
