IDFC FIRST Bank Karma First program is our endeavor to equip every customer with the opportunity to do social good while they bank with us.
- Karma First program is a unique philanthropic program that allows our customers to donate a part of their savings or a fixed amount in a recurring fashion, to social causes of their choice from a portfolio of credible non-profits.
- We enable this and make the process easier for our customers by ensuring these social organizations have been thoroughly vetted through a robust due-diligence process and have been on-boarded as long-term partners for support.
- The Bank has a long-term working relationship with these non-profits and the support of our customers support help us multiply our existing impact.
- Once you are a Karma First program donor, we will ensure you receive the requisite documentation such as donation receipts and 80G certificate wherever applicable, once you make the donation with us.

Program Details
Program Objective: To support door-to-door library for tribal communities of Dadra & Nagar Haveli
Program Duration: On-going

Target Segment: Children aged 4 to 18 years
About the Program:
Children, youth and women in this highly distressed tribal community in the Union territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli are the most vulnerable and are afflicted by violence, poverty and alcoholism and have been cut off from development and progress. They face significant inequality and have been identified as being highly oppressed and distressed due to lack of education, social issues. Project Mehek enables the community mental health services through 16 local service providers, who go door-to-door across 10 villages and conduct various interventions including storytelling and giving access to story books.
We invite donors to support the door-to-door library giving access to 1000 books to support 1500 adivasi children across 10 villages, improving literacy, enriching imagination and fostering value education.
Every Rs. 100 donation will support purchase of one library book.
Every Rs. 500 donation will support purchase of five library books.
Every Rs. 1000 donation will support purchase of ten library books.
We urge you to help us raise funds for this much needed girls’ education empowerment initiative.
Impact – 1500 children in DNH adivasi communities are having access to fortnightly storytelling and story book access, improving literacy, enriching imagination and fostering value education.

Program Objective: Educational Support to Bubbles Centre for Autism
Target segment: Children between 3 - 15 years of age on the Autism Spectrum and other Developmental Delays belonging to low socioeconomic backgrounds.
About the Program
Biswa Gouri Charitable Trust (BGCT) works towards empowering and enhancing Individuals with Autism and other Intellectual challenges through Vocational and Life skills to create valued social roles and a sense of self-worth. Bubbles Centre for Autism is the school program under Biswa Gouri Charitable Trust works with each child to improve their functional academics, self-care skills, effective communication, pre-vocational abilities, and social skills.
The Karma FIRST Donations will be used to support children's educational needs such as stationery and other relevant study materials.

About the Program
Lighthouse Communities Foundation’s Junoon program supports home-based micro-entrepreneurs from low-income communities to grow and expand their businesses. Through the program, the entrepreneurs are supported with pre and post-business guidance including business skills training, support with statutory registrations, upskilling as required, information on Government schemes, and finance options, provide mentorship support, provide support for market linkages.
Through the Karma FIRST Donation Program, aspiring entrepreneurs will be supported to build their marketing collaterals to support their budding businesses.

Om Creation
IDFC FIRST Bank in partnership with Om Creations Trust has set up a stipend program that provides support in terms of skills development and employment to women with intellectual disabilities, especially those with down syndrome, to gainfully engage them in different activities like arts ,crafts and food processing unit at the latter’s center.

4. About the Program -
Your Karma First Donation will help support in the capacity building of staff who work on providing mental health services through group therapy and Art Based Therapy to those availing services at the CTSI. The Centre for Trauma Studies and Innovation (CTSI) aims to incorporate trauma-informed care in mental health services at a grassroots level, through therapeutic interventions, training programs and research, and increase awareness for the same among vulnerable populations in need of access.
5. Impact of the program till date - CTSI has conducted multiple workshops and courses, along with numerous trainings for internal staff as well as external organisations since its inception in 2020. More than 500+ healthcare professionals, care providers, teachers, trainers, workers and people with lived experiences have been trained in trauma-informed care. Along with this, there is continuous research that the centre takes part in as well, impacting many more individuals.

Indian Football Foundation
Program Details
Organisation Name: Indian Football Foundation (IFF).
Program Objective: Sport equipment support to aspiring footballers from under-resourced communities.
Target segment: Children from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category aged between 7-19 years.
About the Program (Please mention a brief of your organization + what cause will the Karma donation support):
IFF is one of the first not-for-profit organizations in India that is specifically focused on supporting talented young footballers from economically weaker sections to develop into professional footballers in an organized manner. IFF focuses on youth development, we look at supporting aspiring footballers in the age group of 7 to 19 years by providing various financial and non-financial resources for their well-being and development towards professional football.
The Karma FIRST donation will fund the academic and football training related needs of the scholars from under-resourced communities to support them in their training and will also be utilized in their coaching, equipment, tuition, lodging, meals, apparel, scouting, and domestic exposure.
Impact of the program till date: IFF has supported over 350 players till date by funding their regular training, and has produced 6 India players, 10 professional (playing in the Indian Super League or I-league) players and over 160 national-level players.

Program Details Organisation Name – Royal Commonwealth Society for the Blind aka Sightsavers
Program Objective – To make education accessible to children with visual impairment through procurement of assistive devices
Target segment – Children with Vision Impairment from 5 to 18 years
About the program- Sightsavers or Royal Commonwealth Society for the Blind, is a development organization working with partners to reduce avoidable blindness and promote equality of opportunity for people with disabilities. The funds generated through the Karma FRIST Donation Program will be directed towards part cost of the procurement of assistive devices, based on the funds so received for the visually impaired children increasing their accessibility to educational material.
