Lend-A-Shoulder Program
Lend-A-Shoulder is IDFC FIRST Bank's Employee Volunteering Program, which actively encourages employees to share their skills and expertise to support local communities, especially to those in need.
Our volunteering activities encompass a diverse range of initiatives, including sessions on financial literacy to enhance financial awareness. Furthermore, it focuses on supporting individuals through skill development workshops that equip people with valuable skills for personal and professional growth. We take environmental preservation initiatives to promote sustainability and conservation, provide human resources support to assist NGOs and organizations with their HR needs, and conduct NGO trainings to enhance the capacity and effectiveness of non-profit organizations.
By actively participating in these activities, IDFC FIRST Bank employees make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and communities, fostering empowerment, knowledge sharing, environmental consciousness, and organizational support. Their volunteering efforts reflect the bank's commitment to being a force for social good.
The Lend-A-Shoulder program provides a platform for employees to actively participate in volunteer work and leverage their professional skills to support local communities and drive Social Good.
Our Impact
Through the Lend-A-Shoulder Employee Volunteering Program, over 7,000 employees at IDFC FIRST Bank have dedicated their time and skills to contribute to social causes, collectively volunteering for more than 11,400 hours. They shared their expertise on Communication, Digital Literacy, Business, Information Technology, Marketing, Finance, and more. By dedicating their time and skills, employees can play a vital role in addressing community needs and making a difference in the lives of others. These efforts have had a significant impact on the lives of 25,503 individuals across India.
