EASY BUY: Terms & Conditions

IDFC FIRST Bank offers “EASY BUY” as a convenient way for its customers to buy consumer durable products at selected merchant outlets. The paperless flow provides great customer experience. This facility is extended to IDFC FIRST Bank’s existing customers, who hold a valid Debit Card, issued by the Bank.

Program Details

Upon availing of this program, you will be deemed to have accepted the following clauses: “I understand, agree and accept that by authorizing payment using my IDFC FIRST Bank Debit card under “EASY BUY” Program, I am giving consent to process my Loan application for the said facility. By completing the purchase through the Debit Card EMI option, I will be deemed to have read, fully comprehended and accepted the IDFC FIRST Bank Pre Approved Debit Card EMI Terms hereunder”.
You will be eligible to avail this facility for purchase of products at select merchant stores with the price range between ₹2,000 and ₹500,000
The maximum loan amount allowed per transaction is ₹1 lakh.
You are allowed 8 active loans. The maximum number of loans allowed, at any given point of time, cannot exceed 8.
Rate of Interest as decided by Bank will be communicated to you at the time of availing the offer and will also be mentioned in the charge slip
The Loan amount will be repayable by you to the Bank in Equated Monthly Instalments (“EMI”) over the EMI Term opted by You. “EMI Term” means 3, 6, 9 ,12,18 & 24 months, as opted by You.
For a loan value equal to or below ₹5000, the allowed tenor for EMI is 3 months.
A Standing Instruction equivalent to the monthly instalment amount will be set up automatically upon availing this facility on your account linked to your Debit Card with which payment was made.
Due date reminder alert will be sent to your registered mobile number, two days prior to the EMI due date.
In case, you cancel the purchase transaction completed through the Facility, refund will be processed as per the Pre-Approved EMI Terms laid by the Bank.
GST as laid down by Government of India will be applicable to all fees & charges
Your liability towards the Bank will be extinguished only when the availed loan amount with interest including the penal interest, if any, is paid in full.
All decisions regarding loan eligibility of the Customer as decided by Bank, are final.

Bank may charge convenience fee for this facility and the same shall be communicated upfront to the customer at the time of the transaction.
Bank has the sole authority to update or revise the Terms & conditions under necessary information to the customers.
Bank shall not be held responsible for any delay in delivery or availability of products.
Bank does not endorse any of the products or brands being sold at the merchant store and will not accept any liability pertaining to the quality, merchantability, fitness, delivery or after sales service of such products which shall be at the sole liability of the sellers at their stores.
Bank reserve the right to add/alter/modify T&C, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever.
Bank reserve the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to discontinue the program.

Customer Consent for EMI

“I understand, agree and accept that by authorizing payment using my IDFC FIRST Bank Debit card under “EASY BUY” Program, I am giving my consent for availing a valid pre-approved EMI application to IDFC FIRST Bank.
I understand and accept that I have read the customer consent on the charge slip generated and have provided signed copy to the merchant.
I confirm that the tenure of loan was communicated to me by the merchant and thus I was fully informed that I will be paying the EMI as per selected tenure.
I was offered normal purchase and EMI purchase option. However, I have opted for EMI Purchase option.
I was informed that the EMI for this transaction shall be debited from my account linked with the debit card that I used for initiating the transaction.
I understand and accept that I will be receiving all my EMI related communication on my Mobile number registered with the Bank.
I understand that dispute with respect to transaction, if any, shall be raised by me within 30 days of the first EMI along with the original charge-slip with the merchant.
I understand that Bank is providing me EMI option on my debit card as per limit assigned to me and any implication with respect to product i.e. product performance, warranty and service shall not be the responsibility of the Bank. For any such product related complaint or dispute, I shall only liaise with merchant or the Brand.
I understand and accept that I will also comply with IDFC FIRST Bank terms & conditions of “EASY BUY” program.

Cancellation of EMI Facility

The card member may cancel the facility within 30 days of date of transaction or before 1st EMI presentation date whichever is earlier. The customer can request for a cancellation at the Bank customer care or at the Merchant Store. Important criteria for cancellation is that Merchant shall acknowledge the return of the purchased product and then only further request to be placed with Bank via Merchant. Upon approval of cancellation request, any EMI amount which got deducted will get refunded to customer’s account.
