How can I temporarily block/unblock my debit card?

Go to the "Cards" tab under the "Accounts" section of the IDFC FIRST mobile banking app. Choose the debit card you wish to block/unblock. Select the Temporary Block/ Unblock option.

You can also temporarily block or unblock your card by contacting your nearest bank branch or by calling toll-free on 1800 10 888.

You can block your Debit Card through SMS by sending SMS BLOCK (last 4 digits of card) to 5676732

How can I permanantly block / hotlist my debit card?

Go to the "Cards" tab under the "Accounts" section of the IDFC FIRST Bank mobile banking app. Choose the debit card you wish to block and select the Permanently Block option.

You can also permanently block your card by contacting your nearest bank branch or by calling toll-free on 1800 10 888.

What should I do if my Debit Card is stolen?

You should permanently block your debit card if it gets stolen. To block your card, go to the "Cards" tab under the "Accounts" section of the IDFC FIRST Bank mobile banking app. Choose the debit card you wish to block and select the Permanently Block option. You can re-issue another debit card simply from the IDFC FIRST Bank mobile banking app.
