How it works
Which card variants am I eligible to refer?
You can refer any credit card offered by the bank. For lifetime-free credit cards, the specific variant offered to the referee will be determined by their eligibility and the internal policies of the bank. Please note that it may not always be the same as the card you referred.
How many referrals can I do?
There is no limit on the number of referrals that one can do. However, first 5 successful referrals where card is generated, will be eligible for bonus cashback.
What is referral program?
IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Card customers can now refer their friends and family to apply for select IDFC FIRST Credit Cards and earn up to ₹1000 cashback for every successful referral.
Here’s how it works
You earn 5% cashback on your credit card spends made within 30 days from the date your friend’s card is issued.
The cashback is capped at ₹1000 when your friend applies for a regular credit card and will be credited within 60 days of successful card creation.
You can refer up to 5 friends in total.
Note:- The referred friend (referee) does not receive any reward under the current program.
How much cashback can I earn?
You can earn cashback of up to ₹1000 (₹2000 for Metal credit cards) for each successful referral of a credit card. This cashback is calculated as 5% of your own card spends made during the calendar month following the successful referral. For example, if you refer in June, your spends in July will be considered for cashback.
Do I need to have an existing IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Card to be eligible for referral cashback?
Yes, to be eligible to refer others and earn cashback under this program, you must already hold an IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Card.
