IDFC FIRST Bank Jeet program

Amid the ongoing pandemic, IDFC FIRST Bank is creating awareness about the benefits of vaccination among rural masses and clearing myths related to it. An on-ground programme is being conducted in Rajasthan, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, to reach out to residents in the hinterland. The program is being rolled out in two parts.

Covid -19 awareness

An awareness is being conducted by IDFC FIRST Bank employees across the hinterland. This covers preventive measures and the merits of COVID-19 vaccination. A dedicated van with COVID-19 related messaging is visiting villages and our team engaging with residents on matters such as vaccination, masks, washing hands and social distancing. The Bank aims to reach over 500 villages in a month.

Digital Assistance and Vaccination

This is being undertaken by IDFC FIRST Bank branch staff along with the Bank’s NGO partners Give India and Haqdarshak. Around 120 villages are being covered, with an aim to provide support to 25,000 beneficiaries in registrations for vaccination.
